● Duration of each game will be 5 mins each way, followed by 7 mins each way for the semi-finals and 10 mins each way for the final
● Two games will be played at the same time
● The teams will comprise of 6 players, 5-a-side with one substitute
● T-shirts and Team Bibs will be provided. Goalkeepers will have different colour shirts
● Changing room facilities are provided
● Footwear shall be worn in accordance with the Laws of the Game, and subject to any local regulations. Please note that you are playing on grass pitches!
● The wearing of shin-guards, which must be covered by football socks, in accordance with the Laws of the Game is compulsory. Any player who fails to wear shin-guards do so at their own risk. The organisers accept no responsibility for any injury to players due to missing or incorrect equipment
● The ball used shall be a five (5)
● Size of pitch: 40m x 25m
● Penalty area: 10m Semi circle

Rules of Play

● In the League stages, 3 POINTS will be awarded for a WIN and 1 POINT will be awarded for a DRAW
● Any of the other players may change places with the goalkeeper, provided that the referee is informed before the change is made
● A referee shall be appointed to officiate in each game. He /she shall have the same powers and duties as laid down in the Laws of the Game. The decision of the referee is final on ALL matters relating to the rules of the tournament and on the field of play
● Once each game has been played the referee will come to the Control tent and present the scores and report any yellow and red cards given in games
● Any player who receives a caution will miss his / her next game. Any player who receives TWO cautions or ONE dismissal will take no further part in the competition
● There is no offside. Players may place themselves in any part of the playing area outside the penalty areas
● NO BITING PERMITTED

Free Kick Offences

When a player is taking a direct or indirect free kick all of the opposing players shall be at least 6′ (1.82 metres) from the ball until it is in play. All free kicks given against the defending side for infringements committed in or near the penalty area shall be taken from a distance not less than 6′ (1.82 metres) outside the penalty area at the nearest point to where the offence occurred
● Charging/sliding tackles are forbidden and shall be penalised by the awarding of a direct free kick
● A player who unfairly impedes the progress of an opponent when not playing the ball shall be penalised by the awarding of an indirect free kick
● If an attacking player enters the opposing team’s penalty area, a free kick will be awarded

Penalties:

A penalty kick shall be taken from the penalty mark and, except for the defending goalkeeper, only the player taking the kick can enter the penalty area and for that purpose only.Whether or not a goal is scored from the kick the player concerned must leave the penalty area immediately after taking the kick and before taking any further part in play
After holding the ball the goalkeeper must immediately return the ball into play by throwing the ball (not kicking it) – under- or over-arm

● If a player enters his own penalty area
● If a goalkeeper goes out of his area
Punishment for Infringement

Note: Referees should distinguish between accidental and intentional entry into, or exit from, the penalty area. Only deliberate actions where the player either plays the ball or tries to play the ball should be penalised. Accidental entry or exit that has no effect on the play should be ignored

In the event of two or more teams tying for the league or runners-up, progression will be decided in the following order:

● Goal difference
● Goals scored
● Result between the teams in question
● If all of the above are tied, there will be a penalty shoot-out
For semi-finals and the final, if the scores are level, 5 min each way extra time will be played. If scores are still equal, a penalty shoot-out will ensue The team winning the toss must go first. Each team will take three penalties in alternate order. Should the scores remain level after this time, and then sudden-death rules will apply. No player shall be permitted to take more than one kick until all players have taken one each. There is no requirement for the same order to be followed in sudden death as first time around. Only players on the field at the end of normal time shall be allowed to take part in any shoot-out. The goalkeeper is permitted to change with an outfield player at the end of extra time, before the shoot out begins
